Guiding paper
Version 2.0 (Entwurf) · As of October 19, 2026 · Change log
“Come in. Think along.” (German: “Komm rein. Denk mit.”) is a project for people who want to solve problems instead of just being entertained. This paper is a draft and does not belong to Daniel alone: you can suggest changes to every section. It also says openly where the journey may lead, up to a party as a possible later stage.

Preamble
Our time and our attention are the most valuable things we have. Today they are bound up and sold on a huge scale. We want people to decide for themselves again what they spend their time on, to solve problems instead of being kept busy with endless content, and to build something that gives the next generation a solid foundation too.

Guiding values
| Guiding value | What it means |
|---|---|
| Self-determination | Every person consciously decides what to spend time, money and attention on. |
| Solutions before consumption | We judge offers by whether they solve a real problem. |
| Verifiability | We only claim what we can back up, and we label theses as theses. |
| Transparency | We disclose who earns money from us and what we earn money from. |
| Sustainability | We act in a way that our children can build on. |
| Strategic thinking | We foster the ability to assess situations and make good decisions. |
| Democratic order | We stand on the ground of the Basic Law and clearly distance ourselves from extremism. |
The guiding values and the nine rules below can only be changed with exceptionally broad support.

Goal
There is no shortage of good ideas for society’s questions, but the people behind them work side by side and are not heard. This project pools their knowledge, lets the community vote on it and makes the results publicly visible.

How it works
Every question goes through the same five steps, visible on the page “Open questions”.
- Question named: A question for society is formulated clearly and neutrally, for example: How can electricity be affordable and secure?
- Smart minds wanted: The community names experts who really know the subject. They are asked personally and only named publicly once they have agreed.
- Proposals: The experts make concrete, workable proposals with reasoning and sources.
- Vote: The community discusses and votes. A proposal only counts as accepted once people with different views support it.
- Result: The result is presented in the Monday video and documented, with the names of those involved and the state of the vote.

My role
I organise and moderate; on the open questions I take no position myself. I bring people together, make sure the process is fair and document the results. My experience from 15 years of logistics and event management helps me with that.
The project is not:
- a party today. Whether one can emerge later is governed by the roadmap below
- a channel for my personal opinion on political topics
- an advertising space for companies, products or people
- a place where people are excluded because they think differently

Independence and funding
The project is funded solely by voluntary contributions from people who take part, and stays ad-free.
- There is no advertising, no tracking and no paid content.
- No donor has any influence on questions, proposals, guests or results.
- Larger contributions are disclosed with name and amount.
- Experts stay independent: their participation commits them to nothing except factual, well-reasoned proposals.

Nine rules for a robust approach
There is no such thing as a one-hundred-percent watertight strategy. Anyone who criticises publicly will be criticised, no matter how cleanly they work. The goal is therefore that every attack fails on the facts. For that, everything is backed up, transparent and consistent: our own rules apply to us as well.
| No. | Rule |
|---|---|
| 1 | Back it up instead of just claiming: Every number and every fact with source, date and link. |
| 2 | Separate fact, thesis and opinion and mark them in the wording (“The study shows …”, “My thesis is …”). |
| 3 | Criticise mechanisms, not people: Assess platform design and products, do not impute intentions. |
| 4 | No absolutes: “often”, “demonstrably in this study” instead of “always” and “all”. |
| 5 | Disclose money: Income, affiliate links and supporters publicly and regularly itemised. |
| 6 | Correct mistakes immediately: publicly, visibly, with a date. A list of corrections is a sign of strength. |
| 7 | Clear boundaries: A commitment to the free democratic basic order, no cooperation with extremist groups or conspiracy narratives. |
| 8 | Rules for everyone involved: Anyone who takes part signs a code of conduct. Influencers with advertising contracts in particular must disclose them. |
| 9 | Solutions instead of just criticism: Every criticism ends with a concrete counter-proposal. |
Most important point: Rule 8 decides whether an alliance with influencers holds. Anyone who criticises consumerism while promoting products makes the whole movement lose credibility.

Roadmap: first impact, then organisation
A party does not come at the start, but at most at the end. Every stage has a clear criterion that must be met before the next one begins. The thresholds are binding and public, so that anyone can check the progress. A party is a possible third stage, not a decided one.
Stage 1: Series and community (from now on, at least 6 months)
- Weekly series on “Komm rein. Denk mit.”, submissions via Discord
- Put the guiding paper up for public discussion and work in the feedback
Criterion for stage 2: 25 episodes published, 300 active members on Discord and 7 people who commit to working on it. All three must be met, after 6 months at the earliest.
Stage 2: Initiative as a registered association (afterwards, at least 12 months)
- Non-profit association for media literacy and strategic thinking, for example with workshops, the app and school visits
- Registering an association requires at least 7 members
Criterion for stage 3: 100 association members, 2 years of clean finances and 3 political demands that at least 70 % of members approve in a member survey.
Stage 3: Party (only if stage 2 holds up)
- Founding assembly, programme, statutes, board
- Only then is the effort of accountability reports and election participation worthwhile
- Rule 8 applies to all founders: disclose advertising partners and sign the code of conduct
Why this order
A party without a base is quickly dismissed as an ego project. An association with demonstrable work, on the other hand, is hard to attack, and educational work can be done well as an association. A non-profit association may only engage in politics to a limited extent, otherwise it risks losing its non-profit status. This will be clarified with a tax adviser beforehand.
Where we stand: stage 1
- Episodes published 0 / 25
- Active members on Discord 0 / 300
- People who commit to working on it 0 / 7
All three criteria must be met, after 6 months at the earliest (so from April 19, 2027). Stage 1 has been running since October 19, 2026.

Fields of action (action programme)
To begin with, a present-day action programme is enough; a programme covering all policy areas is not needed. The demands are proposals for discussion, not fixed positions. For each field of action you can leave a proposal or comment below.

1. Media literacy and strategic thinking
- Goal: People recognise influence and make conscious decisions.
- Proposals: Spread the three-question check as a simple tool; war games and strategy training in schools and clubs; make the Situation Card app free for educational institutions.
Situation Card method: The cards follow the pattern of the military situation assessment, as I know it from operations command: mission, situation, means, options, decision. That sounds tough, but it gives every decision a firm structure. We name its origin openly and explain why it helps in everyday life.

2. Transparency in digital advertising
- Goal: Advertising and selling in the feed are immediately recognisable as such.
- Proposals: check whether existing rules such as the EU Digital Services Act are enforced consistently; clear labelling of shop links in videos.

3. Local business with real added value
- Goal: Local businesses with real services become more visible than interchangeable mass goods.
- Proposals: formats in which local businesses present their work; practice checks that help businesses become more efficient.

4. A solid foundation for the next generation
- Goal: Build something lasting instead of consuming for the short term.
- Still open: Concrete goals for this field are still missing. You can find first ideas and the chance to join in under the open questions.

5. Protecting children and young people
- Starting point: A good one in five children between 10 and 17 uses social media in a risky way (DAK/UKE, March 2026).
- Still open: Age limits for social media are being discussed in politics. We do not have a position of our own yet. First the community is asked, and the arguments of both sides are presented. You can join in at the open questions.

What I would like from experts
The start is deliberately small: a conversation or a single proposal, no membership and no obligation.
| Possible contribution | Effort |
|---|---|
| A short get-to-know-you conversation | approx. 20 minutes |
| A proposal on an open question, presented in the Monday video | one-off, any length |
| A conversation as a guest in the attic studio or by video | approx. 60 minutes |
| On request: answering questions from the community | as you wish |
